長年「音とからだとこころ」に携わってきた実践経験を元に、表現者として演奏家としてクリスタルボウル及び三昧琴演奏・ボイスパフォーマンスの活動を行っている。
また、30年以上に渡る活動を通じ「トーンカウンセリング」というパフォーマンスメソッドを土台にパフォーマンスコンサルテーションなどを国内外のクライアントを中心に行いながら、人生を豊かに過ごすための身心の取り扱い方を伝えている。
川村かなえの身体から繰り広げられパフォーマンスは、時を忘れさせるほどの深い慈愛の響きをあらゆる身心にもたらし、その世界は「命の音」「水の音」「地球の音」「空（くう）の音」と称賛されている。
また、これまでの多彩な経験の中で授かってきた多様な視点やインスピレーションをセッションやワークショップを通して手渡す在り方は、現実的かつ唯一無二の癒しを得ると多くの声を受けている。
